Hilarious, personable and passionate are the words that describe the entertainer, comedian and actor Tim City, a native of Detroit’s Westside. Tim City was born in raised in Detroit, Michigan amongst hardship and adversities. Having a strong, persevering mother, Tim used his comedy to alleviate the negative energy that paraded around him. From the age of 1, his mother knew that he had something special that set him apart from others. Always keeping success at the forefront of his goals, Tim City used his education to create opportunities for himself and his family. Tim City graduated from Michigan State University in 2012 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. During his time there, he produced and edited several shows that included Key to the City and Fraternity Wives. In 2010, Tim City created a controversial college talk show titled Late Night With Tim City. Late Night With Tim City’s first show was such a success that it became a weekly staple of student life at Michigan State. Tim City is currently a Drama teacher in Atlanta, Georgia and continues to pursue his passion of entertainment through his late night talk show and stand up comedy.
